Formation Teams

USA Dance Las Vegas is partnering with local dance studios to get some dance formation teams going!  Formation teams can be a lot of fun!  Team members work together to get the choreography down, make the team dance better, and build camaraderie.  Costs for being on a formation team are similar to what you would pay for a monthly pass at a studio, with USA Dance providing sponsorship money to help keep the costs of going to a competition down.  Teams will meet approximately once per week with an instructor with additional practice with team members highly encouraged.  Below are some teams around town you can join.  If you don't see a listing at your studio, have them contact us so USA Dance can help get a team going there as well.  So check it out and join in on the fun!

DanceCenter will be starting a new team in April. The DanceCenter formation team directed by Anne McNinch recently took first place at the Vegas Open Dance Challenge. Elite Dance Studio is also planning on starting a dance formation team in April, which will be Smooth and Standard based.  James Scott and Lynnsay Ray will be directing the team, bringing their experience from being on the BYU Dance team to us.  Click here for additional details and contact info

Josh Soto has a Happy Feet Latin Dance Company that practices Monday Nights for one+ hours and some Sundays at Las Vegas Dancesport Dance Studio.

Ania Tarnowska has returned to Las Vegas and is planning on starting a formation team in April. The routine will be a burlesque theme of sexy ladies and rich guys, something you won't want to miss being a part of! Practices will be held at Ballroom Addiction, days to be determined.
